Urban Air Market Wins San Francisco Fashion Award for Best Pop-Up Trunk Show
Urban Air Market’s owner and event producer Danielle Cohen is a 2014/2015 San Francisco Fashion Award (SFFA) winner in the category of Best Pop-Up Trunk Show.
“My priority is always a tightly curated and well attended community experience for shoppers and vendors,” Ms. Cohen said. “I’m honored that Urban Air Market has been recognized this year by the awards committee and the voters.”
San Francisco Fashion Awards, an annual ceremony now in its 7th year, selects nominees based on the following criteria: credibility, innovation, originality, community impact, and progressive vision. Del Geronimo, the host of SFFA says, “We’re all for anything that highlights the work of local designers and makes the San Francisco fashion community continue to grow and improve year after year.”
“Working in partnership with an outstanding group of organizations- including non-profits, start-ups, press, and educational institutions- we create large-scale trunk shows that featured the work of over 600 artists and designers each year,” said Andrea Plell, Urban Air Market’s PR Director. “We hope that winning this award will attract up-and-coming designers to sell their work with us and curious new shoppers to come and experience our street fairs.”
